The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies towards the community.
SASSA are going to be rendering expert services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency reported it really is alarmed regarding the superior range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the significant number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is often a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office committed to service the area every day. The provider issue designed for intervention activities a superior inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it hard for that office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to permit the servicing of all consumers and increase entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
